The Kedarnath–Chopta–Badrinath Yatra is a spiritually enriching and scenically rewarding journey through the heart of Uttarakhand. The yatra begins with Kedarnath, a revered Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva, reached via a 16 km trek from Gaurikund. Midway lies Chopta, known as the ‘Mini Switzerland of India’, offering breathtaking views and the gateway to the Tungnath Temple—the highest Shiva temple in the world. The journey concludes at Badrinath, a sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu, nestled along the Alaknanda River.
